Thanks Robbie, but I think you changed yours before they took the site down for maintainence.
I have tried everything to get a pic out of photobox and off the computer as well to replace the Avatar but it won't work and yep I tried it sober still didn't work, tried from the laptop and the iPad nada.
I posted some pics last night to help a fellow member no probs

Geoff, I notice that now the pics are not coming through very clear. They are kinda distorted, not as good as before. I asked the "forum gods" about it. They may have some problems somewhere.

So Robbie is it me or not? havent tried today but several times yesterday, will have another go tonight when I get home. I,m not going near any Avatar comments, was even scared to post this one to begin with.

Robbie ,can you ask the gods,(i'm not that much of a believer)WTF is going on coz I have tried everything to get the POS to work. Tried for pics from my Computer/laptop and Ipad and Photobucket to Avatar and nada,nothing, ''says invalid file" , tried all options in Photobucket .
I managed to copy a pic from computer to my Profile ok ,but won't work from Photobucket to my profile. Getting close to taking the Mother Thumpa to it.

Thanks Robbie, nothing from photobucket will transfer to the Avatar or to my profile picture, tried from all my computers work ,home, iPads , usually I,m ok with this stuff but , got me stumped , do you use photobucket?

I've always just hit the browse button on the avatar page here, and loaded from my computer directly. I think I tried "from tiny pics" once and it didn't work. That's a while ago.

"Yes, you are absolutely right. Photobucket will ruin your pics. on upload. I had the same problem some time ago, when all up loads were 'soft' with the result that I was over-sharpening everything, and it was downhill from there. I only use Flickr now, which, tho not the best out there, is a thousand times better than 'bucket."
