Default 2x4 question C1

i must ask , my 2x4 setup really has been working well . the main question though is !adjustment of choke for summer use i fine after warm up now in semi hot NYC temps . the ide dips down real low around 600 rpm , and on a fast stop the car stall`s.happened only once so far , i anticipate a choke adjustment for summer use any input please .

Not so sure your problem is 100% choke related.

However, I set my choke about twice a year...summer and winter here in Florida. When the season changes I just activate the choke via holding the linkage open on a cold motor on a typically cold day and adjust the black thermoplastic cover until the choke plate just barely closes completely. This allows rapid cold starts and pulls the choke off quickly since WCFBs run on the rich side anyway.

Might not hurt to snug down your carb mounting bolts and lightly torque the 18 screws in the air horns of each of your carbs...you may have a vacuum leak...then readjust mixture/idle speed as necessary. Once you get the smoothest idle..lean out the mixture slightly by turning each mixture screw 1/16" or so of a turn clockwise. The idle will roughen up slightly but soon smooth out.
