More info about 'clocking' fan clutches than you'll ever want to know -- I hate the d@mn things and run with a spacer:

Any over heating problem I have had on C-2's was always fixed via correct cooling system parts and/or engine timming and tunning.

just lurking but learning. i have always thought my 435 ran on the warm side. i kind of expected a high performance engine with a 4.11 gear would be that way (not meant for long road trips or stop and go traffic on a hot day). the car always seems to run best with the temps between 50-60 degrees. enjoying the thread.
