Default Rear Camber?

I have been surfing the net and the forums trying to figure out a measrurement for camber on the rear of 64 vette. I jus need to get it close. I was having some problems and you guys got me on the right track. I didnt have the half shafts in. I ordered some heavy duty shafts and now I need to get the camber close. I can take a level to the wheel and adjust it but I dont know how much would be good. I know you dont want it at zero and everything i read is degrees. So I need it broke down in idiot language that I can understand. How much of a inch would be good. Thanks a ton I owe you guys for saving me with the frame.

Tom, basically you want a slight negative camber on the rear wheels. That should look (facing from the rear of the car like the top of the tire is pointing slightly inward. You can purchase a camber guage and do it to specs or using a level, get it about to where the bubble is close to the line (off center) and that will translate to +/- close to .25-.50 negative camber which works well. Put witness marks on your camber adjusters for reference as you go. It may take a couple of tries (after spinning the wheels, things will adjust to their final position once the rear unwinds) to get it there. Pilot Dan

I use the VBP specs and for a driver they recommend 0 degrees which is perfectly level. For advanced street .25 degrees. I have had no problem with the driver set up so far.
