What paint to use on frame
Some of the paint on the bottom of my frame in my 60 Vette is worn off. The metal showing is not rusted, but shinny. I would like to paint the complete frame. I don't want to do a body off paint job.
Any recommendations on what type of paint I should use. Also any prep work to the frame ? Would a brush paint be OK ?
Cheers

Re: What paint to use on frame (kenmo)
For the best in rust protection:
1. Wire brush loose stuff
2. Spray bottle of Metal Ready to prepare surface
3. Brush on POR-15 semi-gloss or gloss black (dries without brush marks)
Check my website........it's amazing stuff.

Hey, they don't stock that at Canadian Tire ! Nice website by the way.
Where did you purchase the paint ? Mail order ? Eastwood ?

The Canadian distributor is Jim McMillen (905) 985-8627. Price for the paint is $CDN50/qt. and the Metal Ready bottle is $CDN29. His eMail is caswell-canada@caswellplating.com
Best paint I've ever used. One quart will likely be plenty if you're not lifting the body.
