I'm pissed! Da mice got me!!! And the little buggers waited to after the winter too!
They chose my choice Grade A Firewall Padding to biuld it too.
Car has a bad odor now so I will be looking further into this tomorrow.
What scares me is the potential for a fire inside the car. Al W.
When I first got my 65 the heater did not blow the way it should. I thought it was a bad blower motor. When I replaced the heater core it was packed with a mouse condo. They can do some serrious damage.

That odor is probably a dead one. You better find it before it really gets bad.
I had a similar experience today with my boat. It must have been a cozy winter chalet for a family of raccoons! They destroyed the interior, making a nest with my seat foam.
RATS! That what I said this morning too! I was moving some attic insulation to put in a bath vent and moved this piece of scrap wire... NOPE, Rat Tail! Dig a little more and there it was. Maybe it was squirrel, I don't know, but it's over 30 years old and possibly much more, the house is 82 years old.

Had the same issue with my wifes BMW, rats ate the headlight wire harness and made a nest in the air intake. Fixed it with many splices. Critters are a pain.
My neighbor has taken to feeding every cat in the area so the cats are now lazy and don't kill anything. She actually walks the entire neighborhood with a backpack of catfood dropping little piles for every cat she knows about. The Police have warned her but she keeps at it. My neighbor is convinced they will all die without her help.
Hi Al, Other than Mr. Mouse I hope all is well. I have seen this car and boy is she a beauty. Al keeps her in tip top shape so I guessing Mr. Mouse had to work quick.. Tell us about the Camero.
The Meese do love that firewall insulation and the carpet jute. While you are checking things out, check out your frame rails as well. When I first got my car, I was working on the front end and noticed a piece of what looked like carpet jute hanging out of one of the drain holes. Started to pull it out and more and more and more kept coming out Turned out that about 3 feet of the frame was full of junk. Pilot Dan

Hi Earl, Thanks for the compliment on my car. Lyndale Blue does make for a very nice looking Sting Ray. The Camaro parked next to my 67 is a 67, 396 car that belongs to one of my sons. He bought it last year at Carlisle. One of those rare cars that was bought new, engine replaced and campained as a Drag car for years and years. Was then put away for more years with the original engine pickled. Finally the owner sold it to a guy from upstate New York who put it back to it's original state. Hence it has low, but hard mileage. Frame is straight as an arrow flies which surprised me. Really a very nice 67 Camaro. I don't understand why he wants my 67? (LOL). Stay well, Al W.
Love your Lyndale blue '67! I hope the critters stayed in the engine bay...I had 3 grocery bags full of nesting material that I pulled out of the space benind my front fender on a '72 I owned. I had to use chop sticks to pick it all out! BTW, your son's '67 looks like a '68 given the color and rear parking light
