No the sale went through according to the ProTeam email I received today which reads:

Christmas in July Sale Cancelled...because ProTeam sold most of its Corvettes to several high profile clients. Click here to review this list of Corvettes (over 120) that was sold in June 2012. Looking for a special Corvette? Email terry@proteamcorvette.com and put him to work for you with his vast list of connections, 41 years of Corvette knowledge, and the ability to travel almost anywhere. Please put CORVETTE WANTED in your email subject line.

gotta agree, I would think after all the years in business he has a pretty good handle on the market strength, after the election I wouldn't want to be in the "toy" business...

Depending on the outcome it might be a good time to get back in the toy business.

Correction:Other than the top tier of the collector market, I would wait for the next price drop (just before the election or after depending who wins) before I purchased anything. You may want to wait the 1st quarter out too.

It's good to be optimistic! Every election year screws up the economy. Given the instability of the overall economy makes this one especially screwed up.

a very wise fellow told me just the other day and I quote: "Get prepared for 2013,
once US elections are over and the Greater loser wins, the tough part begins, everyone will attempt to dump, everyone will attempt to tariff, and everyone will currency manipulate. If you think its been happening already, you are right, but that is just a warm up for the real tough stuff to come." .... I really hope he's wrong!

Corvettes are fun, now on with the show! ... Rob

Unfortunately, I don't think he is. No matter who wins. There is some serious reckoning due for this country.

I am an optimist at heart. But the stats look very poor. If you ran your business or family like this country is being run? You would be out of business and divorced.
