Let me first say that, I'm sure this question has been beat to death, and I tried the "search" method to find a proper spark plug I can replace my AC43s with, and my head is spinning with various replies. I know I should go to "45" heat range with my local stop/go driving, and I don't want an "s" extended plug, but other than that, what is a good readily available, from local NAPA parts store, plug for my 1964 327/365?
The link already has the conversions at the top for the ACR45; although I think your car should have the ACR45S (unless you have put domed pistons or the like in there).

I can't go with the "s" because I don't know what pistons are in motor. I'll get the R45s and see how that works out. Thanks for the help. Mike

Many people are happy with AC R45 or AC R45S, including me.
I've been hearing about the "S" plugs hitting domed pistons ever since there has been "S" plugs. Never seen one hit. I've run plenty of OEM domed pistons. If it does hit, it will just close the gap up.
A few years ago I was sent 8 original AC 43 plugs when ordeering plugs for my 63-340hp. I later found that 45s was recommended. I still have these new ,never installed 43s Can I use these in my 63swc 340hp? Rgards, Abe G
Those plugs are going to be too cold for most modern driving conditions. E.g. more stop lights, more traffic. I wouldn't use anything cooler than 45s and for C1s 46s were recommended at one point.
