Default Heater Valves

George:

The 90 degree valve with the groove on the bottom (your end valve) is a replacement 63-67 Vette heater valve. It also fits various Cadillac and Buick (maybe other GM and some Ford applications, too). The originals were brass, and are now made of unobtainium.

The other 90 degree heater valve ( the middle valve) will work on mid year vettes, but will just hang in place, rather than fitting in the factory bracket. Either your 63-67 AIM, or one of the schematics on LICS (part number 35-26B) or CC will show the proper fit, or the improper fit in this case.

No clue what the other straight valve is.........

Search on this forum, Google, or eBay 1479664 and you will see what I mean.

HTH,
Thank you.
I think the far left piece is a C1 water valve?

C1's didn't use vacuum-operated water valves; that didn't start until midyears with A/C.

Hi John,
I was referring to the piece on the far left and right in each photo--The "dark" colored piece with the tubes and levers.
