It's been a while but I felt like I had to close this case. VBP inspected the calipers and did not find anything wrong. They did send me a rebuilt set for free but it was a real nightmare. Not what I expected. If someone wants details pm and I'll give them to you but I won't lay it out here. In the end they did what they said they would do. As far as the car I put on a set of Wilwood calipers and pads and as set of discount drilled and slotted rotors. The calipers are real nice looking pieces. Brake performance is better but not light years better. My decision to use the Wilwoods was based in the caliper design. Not to say I think there is something wrong with the stock design, I just like the Wilwood design better.
As an ending thought I would recommend when you check your brakes be sure to check the pads for even wear. Use a mirror or pull the pads out to check them.
