63 A/C question
My car is a second week of March (G2) car, that's why I am scratching my head about the A/C on the car. I have had multiple 63 coupes, but this one has me a bit confused. It seems to be correct, and all appears to have the right stuff.....however.....it's just too early to be an A/C car. The trim tag does not show the XJ or the XL for the saddle vinyl and I'm not sure if the leather interior cars (898) even offered the X with the trim number.
This is an automatic 300 h.p. car with red and tan.
Does anyone have any thoughts about the possibility of this possibly being an A/C car?

He says that the earliest production '63 with C60 is #13,224.
However, he also says that it was Chevrolet's practice to do a trial installation prior to regular production.
And, it is possible that a few will be found in the 11,000 - 13,000 range (March 1963)
