Default Cars and Trains

My 1:24 scale garden railroad......

Above - My first car - a 1950 Chevy. Recognize any of the movie star cars?

A hobby that my grandchildren, my wife, the neighbors and I all enjoy.

David

(Incidentally, I am proud that almost all my railroad rolling stock is not only 'Made in the USA', but much of it is made right here in Indiana.)

Way cool! No kids or grandkids, but here's mine.

Gotta keep that Bear Whiz Beer cold. Gustav as animated and actively trys to push the block of ice through the hatch. Watch for his construction in Garden Railways Magazine.

We party as hard as we work..., maybe even harder.

And let's not forget the first ever "Lowrider" Train complete with dancing Impala, spinners on the wheels, strobes, etc. Even plays "The Lowrider" at regular intervals.

Looks outstanding, Todd. That steam whistle on the lowrider train is particulary well done.

My control panel unplugs and wheels into the garage. The 1:24 scale metal cars and the trains go in the garage and everything else is waterproof. We can even run the trains in the rain (keeping the power supplies dry), and many do. Most everything (including several of the structures) is watered twice daily by the sprinklers and drip system. This has been out there since 1997 and most of the trees and groundcover were added in 1998.
