Default Head Porting? This IS the MAN

This guy, Juan Mendoza, did the heads and intake on my '64 about 25 years ago. Now 72 years old, he is still going strong and recognized as one of the greats.

"Flow Technology Racing Heads
Want some heads ported but don’t have a lot of money? Drop them off at Juan Mendoza’s shop in Garden Grove. According to Fabian, Juan is a genius when it comes to porting cylinder heads, and judging by the collection of Wallys casually sitting in his lobby, it’s clear he knows what he’s doing. Juan is 72 years old; he doesn’t have a website, a Facebook page, or a Twitter feed. You need to deal with him one-on-one in his shop, but we guarantee it’s worth the trip."

It's the trophy you get for winning an NHRA race. It's named for Wally Parks, founder and father of the NHRA.

on a side note, I am renting a house as I look for my new one (sold the old one too quickly!), there is a 50th annv NHRA poster on the wall, I noticed yesterday that it was autographed by wally himself.. why would the owner leave that ?
