For the 64 and 65 models, both the 3782609 and the 3839175 were used with some late 65's using the 3859326.
This is the first I've read this in my research. Everything else I've read has lead me to believe that '65 used the 3859326.

I am looking to replace my current pump which is leaking thru the weep hole. My car is an early '65 L76 (#236). Current pump is a 3859326, stamped GM12. I believe I am looking for a 3859326, stamped GM1 - 4, no date.

Am I looking for the wrong pump?
