New Speedometer Cable Lube Question

Default New Speedometer Cable Lube Question
I bought a new Speedometer Cable from CC, does anyone know if they come pre-lubed or do we need to lube them before install? It seems to have some oily residue in the plastic bag it came in.

To be on the safe side....use/put some graphite lube on the cable and the head of speedo....

NOT TO MUCH
