Ok now what are the chances of a car that was parted out in the late 70s have the frame going to Texas with a vin tag less body titled with just the frame stamp . The cowl section with that frames vin # still attached tries to get titled in FL one month after the Tx car . Now 2 police agys do their investigation and find no one did anything wrong and are going to retag my split in fl and give that tag to the guy in tx cause he titled first . end result buyer of the split is happy I am happy and now I am going to play lotto with that vin # . Truth is stranger than fiction
Dam Paul it sounds like everyone got lucky on that deal. I am glad it worked out for everyone. Just don't try to title 1953 Corvette #029 it has been tryed before. Ha Ha Ha. See you in FL. in Jan.
are they going to give you a new vin tag and shipped the orig to texas? if so i would like
to see how they give a new vin number and how they attach. minus the numbers of course.
i am glad things worked out for you and the new owner.
thanks jim
The Fla cops must trust the TX cops. Generally, the issuing agency will permanently afix the proper issued Tag. Then again it is the "Deep" south. Al W.
