Front end stuff on the 64' for my winter project. Going to replace all the bushings for the upper and lower A-frames, as well as the sway bar too......already did the shocks as they were quick and easy.

Don't know what I'm in for exactly, I 've never done bushings before, but I already bought everything out at Carlisle, so I'm gonna' tackle it.

It will be a good time to clean and paint all the parts while I have em out too.

Ditto on what Oakler57 is doing. I plan on starting in Nov on my 64. I need to buy parts: bushings, shocks, springs, upper/lower ball joints and tie rods. Any suggestions will be welcomed!

Started a Frame Off on my '64 that I've now owned for some 30+ years. It was time, and I ain't getting any younger....

Here's what I started with, followed by where I'm currently at.

WOW! My projects are pretty mild/tame compared to most of your plates. My plans are to buy and install shoulder harness seat belts, replace the windshield with a tinted one and there's a 5 speed looming on the horizon. Oh yeh! :

I'm planning on pulling seats, carpet and insulating the interior better. My wife complains every time we go for a ride. It must just be a problem on the passenger side because I really don't notice it too much.

If you happen to remember and isn't an imposition, would it be possible to get you to start a thread showing how you install the shoulder harness belts (unless there's one out there already)? It's on my list to do and a little guidance would be extraordinarily helpful.

Tossin',

You're on! Definitely planned on photo'ng this shoulder harness install. There are some documented installs in the archives.

Here's RK-TECT's install at this link:

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c1-a...-question.html

Very clean setup.

Jim
