Default Fall Hershey

I realize this is not a Corvette related show but..........

I'm considering going to the Hershey show this coming Saturday. It would be my first time going to it. I'll be coming from the Philadelphia area. Can anyone give me a feel for traffic and parking? I'm considering driving the C6 out, but if the parking is in a field or the traffic will be bad (clutch and my knee don't get along in traffic much anymore) I'll take a different vehicle.

Parking is in fields and may be muddy. It would probably be better to leave the Corvette at home. But, If you like old cars, history, and parts, Hershey is unforgettable and a must see. There is nothing like it. To do it justice, you need three days to cover the fields. The show is sat. morning. By that time a lot of the vendors are packing up, so if you like the parts scene, go at least Friday for that.

Thanks for the info. We are going mostly to see the cars. I like looking at the older cars and I have always heard this is the place to go. We'll stroll what is left of the flea market after taking in the cars. If I like waht I see, then maybe next year I'll go up during the week.

Field parking = C6 stays home.

Thanks,

Tom

The Saturday show is worth the price of admission. (Free)
We usually have aver 1500 show cars. Lots of Corvettes, race cars and HPOF (Historic Preservation of original features)
If you come early in the morning, you can witness the parade of cars entering the show field. It is a sight to behold.
Weather is to be cool but dry (I hope).

Thanks Dave. Sounds like a great show. Don't know how early I'll get there as it is difficult to get the wife out of the house before 7am. It's about a 2 hour drive for me plus whatever traffic we run into.

Better planning on my part and I would take my 71 LS5 car up to try and sell it. I need some room (and a few $$) for a future C2. Wife not too thrilled with 4 Corvettes in the stable. But she has more the 4 pair of shoes..........
