Default Thanksgiving day car show pics

Went to a car show on Monday. That was our thanksgiving day up here. The show was at the Ruthven Park. It is a home built back in the early 1800's with about 1,500 acres of land. There were about 200 cars but only a few vettes. It was a nice day, a bit cool, but the cars were a great variety, with some really nice entries.

Pretty neat bunch of cars. What was the red "box" on wheels? Dennis

Looks very much like a Helms Bakery(Los Angeles) truck from the 40's-50's. I remember how good they used to smell, and donuts were a nickel. A friend had one of the trucks in the 60's, sure wish I could find one now.

Looks like a nice show, Brian. Would probably have done that show too if we hadn't gone up to our Airstream in Bancroft for Thanksgiving. LOVE this time of year!

BTW - was that yellow Monza Corvair convertible in the background the same one that was for sale at the Niagara College show? Looked real nice, think they wanted like $7500 for it.

Jennie and I were thinking what a cool EV (electric) conversion car it would make for her. Figured with the batteries up front and in the back, we could get that car to weight balance just right!

Good pics, looks like a nice event and decent weather.
We had our end of season inter-club Corvette cruise on Sunday, we got about 40 cars, I'll post some pics later.

Paul yes that was the same one, the wife of a friend of mine, I know they are pretty set on the price, he had that yellow C3 with tweety bird on it, it was for sale as well.

Default T-Bird

Great pictures and it looks like a cool show. Guess you guys have to sneak Thanksgiving in before everything goes white. So what's up with the T-Bird with the crazy exhaust on the Continental Kit? I've never seen anything like that before on an early bird, looks like drugs may have been involved.

I have seen those continental kits on a few 50's T-Birds, not sure if it was a factory option or aftermarket.
