How do I dull down paint per NCRS ?
I have the usual base coat clear coat paint on my 67 Corvette
NCRS and BLOOMINGTON will take away all of your paint points if your
door jams, inside hood, front and rear valance panels are too shiny
The rationale is that the factory did not buff these areas originally
HOW DO I DULL the areas? I heard that there was a spray flat or semi clear that woulld work on the areas without sanding and that the paint would stick and not peel up
Any help would be appreciated!

Burning Brakes
Rubbing Compound
I read in one of the Corvette mags that one guy used rubbing compound to dull down the jams in order to get max points. He ended up getting no deductions for paint.

The matte finish spray works very well. Artist shops and hobby lobby stores have it too. Start with a light coat and then add to it if a flatter finish is desired.
