Snow is Corvette weather... Don't ever put the top up or stop for snow. If you don't drive the Vette in the snow, you're a wimp. Here are my cars in "action" in Denver:
If it snows, just drive faster. It's OK to run the heater, but don't ever succumb to putting the top up. Keep the 'shades on to keep snow out of your eyes and to maintain the Hawaii look:
Mud & snows on the '85 daily driver work fine:
And another day at the office. High-speed running in the snow really packs the rear end of a C4. If the cops could catch me, I'd get a ticket for that covered license plate...(notice the wussies parked next to me with the 4X4 Suburbans):

We received a foot of snow out here in Manitoba, Canada this weekend. Thanks to the Colorado Low.
Studded snow tires will walk you through almost any snow...Michigan's problem is that they are now outlawed....my 1968 was merely a high horsepower Snow mobile...I put my skis through the passenger side angled down the center and took off every week end to Boyne Mt.
Sad to report the suffering going on here in NY, NJ, and other nearby states. Sandy has changed so much for so many and the cold is just making it worse. Al W.
can't imagine what those poor folks are going through, I hope FIMA gets their act together better in NYC & NJ than they did in N.O. All those unwanted house trailers in Fla. should be moved up for those in need of housing. How many are out of work as a result of Sandy?
Snow?! I bet fully 4 out of 5 Corvette people I've ever met would not drive in the RAIN except if they were caught out. Even other late model drivers are so obsessed with being better-than-showroom-sanitary-spotless they seem to be unwilling to risk it.
I drove the '69 in the rain whenever it came calling...then again I knew the tops were going to pour a relatively stout trickle onto the console/my shoulder/my obliging date...
