Default Windshield Wiper help !!!!!!!

Hello All,
I just started cleaning my windshield of my 1960 Corvette. When I picked up driver’s side wiper in order to clean the glass, it came right out in my hand. I looked under the driver’s side dash and I can’t even see the wiper linkage or motor. What do I have to remove in order to get to the wiper?
Thanks in advance.

The motor on the 60 is located on the firewall in the engine compartment. Check the other wiper that is still on and see if the wiper is tight on the post. You then can compare how the wiper goes on the post. It is possible that it is only a worn out wiper blade mount, or worse, the teeth on the wiper post are worn.

This tool is use to remove the wiper blade.

Enclosed are links from Keen that show the windshield wiper motor what it looks like and location.
