Whats it worth thread ? 1964 conv.
Whats it worth in current economy ? 1964
Originally a black fuel injected car , currently set up as a 365hp with period correct block. Currently 64 goldwood yellow. power brakes. Mech. very sound and could drive any distance , laquer paint looks great from 20 feet but has many stress cracks in corners. Stainless screws on deck where a luggage rack was mounted. Engine , trans and rear end all older rebuild with about 6k miles on them. Complete brake rebuild a year ago. New tires , new top , repo knock-off's . Very tight and very nice driver. Been in family for over 35 years , couple of re-paints and maintaince but never a restoration. Showing 70k miles and all I know is it had 25k miles in 1977 ?

Nice looking in the pics. I see aftermarket radio, replacement seat belts, was a hardtop car. Paint and minor body work needed....$28-$29. Dennis

I don't live in fantasy land, but I did stay at an optimistic inn express
I'd rather have the yellow one shown above than this one, for example, which recently sold for 33K.

Good looking top. Serious chick color. Those pipes with the 365 will be a lot of fun for someone. Make the prospect drive it and I predict it will sell in the mid 30's.

Depends how bad the paint looks in real life, you might get $30K from someone looking for a driver?
That's just my guess though, I haven't seen or driven the car.

Thanks for the opinions , I guess it will stay around awhile longer at those prices.
Believe I'd need closer to the 40 mark to sell. Been kicking around the idea of painting but cant decied on original black or current yellow. Love the yellow myself and really believe the yellow would re-sale better than black being it's a non-matching engine car anyway ?

40 Might be kind of tough... but you never know. There is probably somebody out there that wants a yellow 64 with Pipes.
I know if I post it, folks will chime in about how eBay isn't a good gauge... but it is a gauge nonetheless. Its what people have recently paid for some cars.

Not many actally selling... those that did were 33K and under
Good luck

Looks quite similar to Sunfire Yellow. Not a chick color IMHO. A sharp looking car for sure!
Of course if you need a $10k paint job to take it from $30k to $40k, you're no farther ahead.
