Cold topdown cruisin...
I can count on one hand the number of times i have driven my 66 roadster with the top up.
Always go out later at night after 10:00 pm.
Latest have been out is end of November with temp about 0 degrees centigade or 32 degrees faranheit
Just get layered up and away I go with heat on full blast.
Wife thinks I am nuts but I love it!!!
Bet my wife that I am not the only one...

I drove to a long-distance event in the '61, top down, early one icy morning a few years back. Hot coffee in hand, heater wide open, 65 MPH. It was crystal clear and there was a hot air balloon event just starting in the distance over farmland. Like 20 brightly colored, big balloons with gondolas drifting upwards. It was truly beautiful but I sure ain't making no habit of it.

Nice thing about going topless is the exhaust sound, forget about your wonder bar.....
Weather down here sux right now, Bluestripe must have made a quick visit, pool is 59 degrees....But today highs are going into the 70's, might even cut back the house heat...

Went to the local Cars and Coffee a few weeks ago. It was in the low 30s at 7AM. I keep the top down right into December. At that point continued cruisin' is more determined by the road conditions than the temperature. Once the salt starts going down that's the end of cruisin for the winter.

We drive with the top down quite often in the winter. We like to go out looking at Christmas lights, much nicer with the top down. A couple years ago we were out driving in Pennsylvania in January, it started snowing huge flakes, it was a beautiful ride and as long as we kept moving we got no snow inside. Just dress warm and have a great time, somewhat like snowmobiling in the North

cold is running a frozen lake in northern Ontario on a snowmobile at 40 below and at 80 mph

Hardly ever have the top up and my wife is right there with me. I always worked outdoors and don't usually get cold but she bundles up like the kid in the movie "Christmas Story". I got here some of the electric clothing that the motorcycle riders wear so she can be more comfortable.

Nicolas....you are brave. I'm in Burlington but we have way too much snow to venture outside with my '63.
One year I drove my '32 roadster to the indoor car show at the CNE in February. That is the coldest I've ever been. My hands were frozen to the steering wheel!

Last year, I drove all winter (it was mild for NJ) but still used the Hard Top. Would not think of going topless here now (even if they did not just put a whole mess of salt on the roads......when it only rained 
) it gets down in the single digits with the wind. The heat is quite good in both cars and don't need much even on the coldest days.

The top is rarely up up on our car. Happily the wife has alway been very adventurous. She has her clothing sorted and her top down hat. Many trips this year alone, including a 7 hr [one way] trip to a big car show on the coast this fall - mostly cloudy, threatening [and some rain] most of the way. No complaints - she knows how it is .... Car doesn't miss a beat and neither does she :-)

I had a '59 AH Bugeye Sprite back in high school in Alexandria, VA. Drove with the top down even in the snow but it was more of a safety precaution since I could get out of the car faster with the top down when the Lucas wiring catches on fire <LOL>.
As for my current Corvette, I've owned it for 8 months and haven't put the top up yet. In Florida you really don't need a top at all if you plan your driving to dodge the afternoon thunderstorms and heat.
