I have a 65 coupe with a 350 swapped in that I'm trying to identify. It is a 350 (casting #3970010), but after that I'm stumped. The stamp on the ID plate is CE4292, with a larger 76 stamped seperately. It also has an unusual intake that has 2 seperate venturi holes on the drivers side, but one long opening on the passenger side, almost like it would mount an old Holley 3-barrel sideways, and no manufacturer or casting # that I can see. Any ideas?

That was originally a 5/50 warranty replacement "CE" 350 short block, made at Flint V-8 in 1974; that throttle plate pattern on the intake pad is quite common, usually found on intakes designed for AFB or Holley carburetors.
Thanks guys. I thought the CE was for crate engine, but wasn't sure. I'm glad the manifold was recognized - I had never seen one before. I'm going to leave it on until I get everything is cleaned up and fire the engine (been in storage for 26 years). The entire fuel system, tank to carb, had to be replaced - took me forever. Can't wait for warmer weather!

The "CE" prefix on the front pad stands for "Chevrolet Engine", not "crate engine" or "counter exchange"; warranty replacement transmissions are stamped "CT", for "Chevrolet Transmission".
