What I know:
3756519 block - Corvette (and full size sedan???)
F1231EJ (Flint - 23 Jan 61, EJ?????
Heads:3774692 - Double hump????

I don't think EJ code is corvette but I may be able to purchase the long motor for $300

F1231 translates as

Flint... December 31st as the assembly date.

EJ? Let me check.

What's the casting date of the block, located on the bellhousing flange, towards the passenger's side, up near the distributor?

It'll be something like A 4 1 where:

A is January, B is February, etc.

4 is the day of the month, and

1 is the year, 61, 71, 81, etc.

It's likely a 283. The casting date will tell you the year.

The 519 block was used up to and including 1961 Corvettes IIRC.

The EJ suffixes listed above were used only for those particular years of cars.
