Default Paint Chip ?

I have a small chip on the rear deck of my coupe, about a 1/4 inch in dia. Anyone know if this is repairable easily or should I just dob it up ? The paint is base clear and about 10 yrs old .

What color? Solid color or mettalic? If a non-mettalic, solid color like white or red you can possibly do a reasonable touch up job that won't be real obvious. If it's a mettalic color it will probably end up as an obvious touch up job at best. I would also rather be touching up a chip that big in a single stage paint job than a base coat/clear coat job. If the rest of the car's paint is real nice, you may be best off to visit with a custom painter about spotting it in and re-clearing the rear deck.
