I don't know if there is a solution to my problem. My 66 stingray
has the factory windshield wiper motor drive and pump (recent rebuilt), however I need to reprime the hoses if the windshield washer
is not used for a period of time. I have the windshield fluid tank filled to reduce the suction required to pump.
Seems like my system needs a check valve to prevent the fluid from running back down the pick up hose.
Absolutely John. Stop by any Acura dealer(probably Honda also), and tell them you need part number 76810-s52-c01, one way valve. I just replaced one that went bad in my 2001 CL. About 5 dollars. Not 100% sure that it takes the same hose size as your vette.......but it's close. It is part number 7 on the drawing.http://www.oemacuraparts.com/parts-c...dshield-washer
