i remember leaning on those chain link fences for hours......we always looked behind us for an easy escape route if things got hairy, usually only a telephone pole laid on the ground to jump over!.....

Thanks for the memories! Although not the dragstrip I went to, everything about it (especially the lack of any safety devices to keep the cars on the track) was familiar. Love those nose in the air cars!
