1960 windows........

I installed new fuzzies (got actual OEM ones) new glass, new everything and my windows will barely, barely roll up and down.
It's like they are dragging on something.
Help please
One quick thing to check is at the front of the horizontal stainless steel garnish on each door. there is a small metal tube at the front that has to properly mate with its vertical counterpart to be tight and out of the way. If it is misaligned and rubbing on the metal window frame it can cause excess friction during operation.
Also look down from the top of the glass and make sure your rubber window upper stops are well away from the glass during operation (there are two stops for each door). They are the two rectangular plates at the top of the inside of the door in the picture.
Next quick thing to try is to loosen up the rear channel (couple of big Philips head screws at rear of door IIRC) and let them 'float' as a test while operating the window. This is the vertical, felt lined rear channel.

While trying to recondition parts, and using oem when all possible, we sometimes have had to use reproductions.
The fuzzies and runners we first installed were repos. When we had this problem, I compared the repos to the old originals and saw they were larger in diameter. I hammered the corners down with no positive result.
I finally found oem fuzzies, they are smaller and have cloth backs. They are better, but still have this problem. I didn't hammer the oem ones down, but maybe should have.
I will try your suggestions and again thank you so much.
I have owned this car for 43 years and want it to be as close to new as possible. We have so far done all the work (thanks to much advice from you guys) with the exception of spraying on the paint. The window problem has taken it's toll on us for over 2 weeks now just on the fuzzies, runners and repolishing the frames after scratching them repeatedly. (I won't tell you about the 3 windshields and 2 dash pads)
