Default 1960 windows........

Let me start out...
I installed new fuzzies (got actual OEM ones) new glass, new everything and my windows will barely, barely roll up and down.
It's like they are dragging on something.
Help please

It could be anything from the window stop cushions to the fuzzies too tight.

One quick thing to check is at the front of the horizontal stainless steel garnish on each door. there is a small metal tube at the front that has to properly mate with its vertical counterpart to be tight and out of the way. If it is misaligned and rubbing on the metal window frame it can cause excess friction during operation.

Also look down from the top of the glass and make sure your rubber window upper stops are well away from the glass during operation (there are two stops for each door). They are the two rectangular plates at the top of the inside of the door in the picture.

Next quick thing to try is to loosen up the rear channel (couple of big Philips head screws at rear of door IIRC) and let them 'float' as a test while operating the window. This is the vertical, felt lined rear channel.

You need to flatten the stainless where the fuzzies make the corner. If you loosen your glass, my guess is that you'll find that the stainless frame around the window is not sliding up through the stainless. Also make sure that you're not too tight, front to back. If you moved your post back any amount to clear the windshield post, then you might have to modify you rear window run. The best way to test all of this is to loosen the window from the track. Lower the track to the bottom of the door, and manually move the glass through it's travel. You should be able to tell where it is binding. If it moves smoothly, then you have a bind in the mechanism. After I install the fuzzies to the trim, I hammer the corners (right where Franks red arrow is), to flatten the corner, and allow more room for the window frame to pass.

Did you replace the rear window channel liner with anything but simple cloth store felt glued into the channel?

Good point - when I did my 57's (back in the 90's), the reproduction rear glass channel liners were WAY too thick to let the glass move freely; I went to a fabric store and bought some black flannel, glued it in the channel, and it worked great.

Thanks once again for your continued, and most appreciated help. Since my wife and I undertook this ground up restoration 5 years ago, we have had many trying times. This, being one of the most difficult.
While trying to recondition parts, and using oem when all possible, we sometimes have had to use reproductions.
The fuzzies and runners we first installed were repos. When we had this problem, I compared the repos to the old originals and saw they were larger in diameter. I hammered the corners down with no positive result.
I finally found oem fuzzies, they are smaller and have cloth backs. They are better, but still have this problem. I didn't hammer the oem ones down, but maybe should have.
I will try your suggestions and again thank you so much.
I have owned this car for 43 years and want it to be as close to new as possible. We have so far done all the work (thanks to much advice from you guys) with the exception of spraying on the paint. The window problem has taken it's toll on us for over 2 weeks now just on the fuzzies, runners and repolishing the frames after scratching them repeatedly. (I won't tell you about the 3 windshields and 2 dash pads)
