I found it on Fleabay for $ 670.50 with free shipping
from a place called BuyAutoParts.
Just do a search for 1963 corvette Borgeson--for example

This was for my car that already has factory PS, so I didn't need the pump etc.

Jegs matched the price, so I ordered it from them.

I just recieved it. It took about 10 days to get it.

Bill

Sorry --I see you wanted the kit to convert from Manual
Maybe this will help someone else.

Try BAP1525 on the buyautoparts site. I would register on their site first. It brings it to $753

Just try it without registering first and see if that works. Maybe there is a place to register after adding to cart. I ordered from them and saved over $100 on this kit (999017). Plus it was free shipping when I ordered it- that's a big savings...

I've had mine for about a month now and will not be able to install for a few more months with winter on top of us. Let me know how you make out and any tips along the way. Looks like a good kit and am excited to get mine going. One tip I was told was that if the rag joint won't fit column keep the column portion of the old rag joint and mate it with the new.

Does the kit come with all the pulleys needed? That pump bracket looks "weak". Is there a GM one we could order?

No it comes only with the pump pulley. You'll have to get a pulley for the crank whether it is a double or an add on pulley will depend on the alignment.

While we're at it, pump bracket, looks way to JCWhitney for me. Is there a GM part # I could order, or look for somewhere?

Just use the stock GM pump and mounting brackets - all the usual Corvette parts vendors have them, and the proper pulleys, depending on your application; they're all stock parts.

The borgeson pump bracket comes with instructions that state "1. If equipped, remove the two mounting studs from the back of the pump"
Next step is to attach the back of the bracket with two bolts. The pump does come with two studs on the back with nuts on them. Has anyone who has used their bracket actually removed those studs and if so how. Hate to ruin a good pump and I am gathering all the parts now for my install. I have the 016 kit that is for SB C2's with manual steering.
