62 Bumper studs

Default 62 Bumper studs
Anyone know if the front bumper studs (2) are pressed or welded on the inside? I need to replace so knowing will guide my attack.

I've owned 28 62's over the past 40 years, and I don't know what front bumper studs are. Any pics or more description?

The bumpers I have have two 5/16 studs about 1 inch long pressed in the end bracket on the inside. They have a round flat head and were tack welded or spot welded from the back side. Looks like installed before bracket was welded to the bumper shell. I'll get some pictures.

Those studs you are referring to are for the mounting studs of the grill bar. So what is the problem? Won't move or broken ? jim

One bent a little and threads not good. I drove them out and will replace after bumpers are plated. Thanks for the reply.
