My kids '76 needed horns and he didn't have money for GM horns so we used a set of horns made by Hella. Darn things are loud but don't sound anything close to a GM horn.
I put a Fiamm E and Fiamm F on my car. I can't necessarily say of they are louder than stock, as my car didn't come with any horns,a nd I ran a junkyard horn for many years before i went with new during the last do-over.
I had a friend put some Diesel airhorns, as in locomotive horns, under the bed of his pickup, with an air tank and compressor.
Now THOSE were loud. Guaranteed to make any green light sitter crap their pants.

I have a pair of transport truck air horns. Thinking about installing them in my pick up. Those bad boys are going to be LOUD!
I have installed yacht air horns from the larger vessels, like a Hatteras, and they really let folks know you are there as they swerve into your lane while texting . Less expensive than the locomotive option, but hey, it's all about planes, trains, and automoblies, right?
HI..... i just put the horns off a 2000 camaro. They were much louder than my stock ones. They come mounted together on a bracket. Just modified the horn wiring a bit. Left vette wiring stock. Walt
