Default Help w/ Carb date code

My car is a '65 365 w/ build date of Sept. 1, 1964, VIN 100236. Below is a photo of my carb # and date code. According to NCRS date code is Year-Month-Week. It looks like "446" but last digit can't be a "6" as there wasn't a 6th week in April '64! So must be "5"? Also, it looks like an obscured digit before the first "4". Maybe just some flaw?

If it is "445", that makes it the 5th week of April 1964. However, this doesn't jive w/ what the List # should be. According to NCRS the List # is 2818 for very early cars, which changed to 2818-1 sometime between June and September 1964.

So if the date code is "445", the List should not have "-1". If it is "-1", then second digit of date should be 6, 7, or 8.

Can anyone shed some light on what I have here or what I'm missing?
Thanks in advance.

Wow -- Don't think I've ever seen a pic under 2 kilobytes; need about 400 times that resolution.

2818's already had the (dash) 1; '2818-1' by 482 (2nd week August 1964). In theory, I suppose it's possible for an early '65 car (can't get much earlier than yours) without the dash.

Without the "dash" was prior to June 1964. If mine is "445", ie. April 1964, it should not have the "dash".

I'm wondering if that's a post 1973 Holley 2818-1 service replacement carb. with first 3 digits being day of year, last digit being year.

244th day of 1976

44th day of 1976

If that first of 4 digits is a 2, then 244th day of 1976 would be August 31, 1976

According to this website:

http://www.junkyardgenius.com/holley/datecode.html

IF there is a 4th digit on my carb (a leading digit that is somewhat obscured) - this could be from '66, '76, '86, '96.

Any other thoughts on what date this carb is?

I think that faded first digit is a 2 or a 3, making the carb a Service replacement, made either the 244th or 344th day of '76, '86, or '96.
