Engine I.D. Help
Am looking at a 64 vert tomorrow, with a NOM. I have this from the current owner & would like to I.D. it before I see car:
18F23065 V0603HN (assuming he got this off pass.side front pad)., but not sure.
Casting date is E228. Currently a 4 speed car. I need to get the casting number yet, which I will try to post tomorrow.
That 18F number is throwing me? Passenger car, truck, or what?
Any ideas appreciated.

Passenger car engine. I would guess from the 18F23065, which is probably 8F23065, that it is a 68.

It's a 327/250hp Powerglide out of a '68 Impala built at Chevrolet-Flint Assembly.
