Please take it to a professional window installer. If you never removed any type of car window, don't do it because you will break the glass. Glass is NOT cheap to replace. Also, the stainless window trim can be damaged.
NEVER use metal tools to remove the SS Window trim, and if you do not loosen the window from the putty properly you will break the glass, and be looking for a rare glass replacement.
Not to mention if you bend the SS trim. If you have never down this bring it to a glass shop and save a lot of frustration...

You DO know that the stainless on the back windows of these cars is made of 'unobtanium'. Booger that up and you will be trying to fix or replace one-year-only metal. Price some around the web and you'll think twice about learning on the job for this particular task (if you're smart that is). We won't even talk about the rear glass.
I agree with the posts that suggest taking it to a professional glass guy.
BUT, be sure he is familiar with and has done this type of work before, specifically Corvettes.
A while back a friend asked me to put a windshield in a 62 Corvette. Since he was flipping the car and I don't like doing C1 windshields he decided to call a glass professional.
I went over to see how it was going and there's the pro smashing out the glass, I was stunned. He told me it was to much trouble
to remove the frame and he could replace the glass without removing it. WRONG.
He was asked to leave at that point and his boss ended doing the job correctly.
SO, please check out the guy before he starts.
As Frankie said the 63 trim is worth it's weight in gold.
Talk to a corvette shop in your area and find out who they use most installers have never worked on windows with gaskets you don't want them to learn on your $3500 moldings that will take you at least a year to find if they damage them. Believe me it took me a year and a half to find 4 missing moldings for my 63 rear window.
