need help on distributor
Looking for the best aftermarket distributor with tack drive in it, that will fit under the stock distributor cover for the car.. Robert

I have an MSD-8572/tach drive...FITS UNDER SHIELDING...have to take off the 'wire holder on top...route the wires on top of cap to fit...

Why not use the stock Distributor ? You probably already have one !

Looks like I am having problems out of it, Cant find no one in this town to go thur it and replace parts or fix it or even check it out.

If keeping the stock distributor is not off the table, then I highly suggest you send it to forum member Lars for a complete rebuild and recurve.

I looked and shopped and finally found this one from ZIP..and bought it for my 67 BB
Has tach drive...HEI...vacume advance...rev limiter...fits under stock shielding

nothing wrong with the stocker if in good repair
MSD all the way for me as im' not a purist
you can change the cap to a traditional one from msd also....jmo...good luck.....
you can actually tailor the curve with the parts included and the curve sheet already included and the spec's are dead on without a sun machine..good stuff....
