You could buy a nice uncracked stock one for around $150-$200. Or get your stock cracked one repaired.

The price is right. You could always send it back.

Check ebay too.

I really like mine, but it does make looking at parts of the speedo and tach hard to see. I have to duck down a little to see the gauges.

I didn't buy it from Ecklers, but it looks like the same wheel.

I like mine

I don't worry about looking at the instruments. I have a check engine light.

I had one of those, and thought it had too much flex for me, so I gave it to my buddy with an AC cobra, and he thinks it's fine. I use the 80-82 type with solid spokes, as it seems to be stiffer.. but even one of those I picked up at Carlyle PA one year actually broke..... one of the spokes seperated from the rim...guess I'm just too hard on stuff....

Dont' seem to have a good picture, but how about a clip of it in action

C2 gauge cluster was designed around a 16 inch wheel.

I just received mine today. Try E-bay it is $5 cheaper and free shipping. Quality looks good...now. Will see how it holds up. For $85 thought I would try it

I bought mine about 6 months ago. it does block the gauges . . . any wheel that diameter will block the gauges.

I prefer the look of the original wheel but I wanted a smaller wheel to make getting in and out of the car easier and it does the job. But now I have to suffer comments from people like the guy who came up to me when I was getting gas and asks, "What else isn't original about your car besides the steering wheel?"

Default Steering wheel

I have that wheel on my 68. It is comfortable on the hands and makes getting in and out of the car easier. I would not use the wheel without power steering. Jerry

FWIW, I don't have power steering and I don't have any problems with it.

nah.... the original wheel took that hit... held up pretty good considering. The one in the video is actually the one that broke, and I picked up another. I really liked the original - thought it looked the best in the car - took me a while to get used to the look of the smaller wheel.

I custom drilled a blank center racing car wheel from England many years ago. Leather-wrapped, the diameter was 12" and it looked like something from a McLaren Can Am car. You COULD see the upper (more critical) portion of the speedo.

My petite 5'3" wife had trouble parallel parking, but I enjoyed driving one of the world's largest go karts...

...until I installed wider wheels and 12" wide TIRES.

I got this wheel from Ecklers several years ago and I have been very happy with it. I am 6' 5" and my left leg would hit the wheel when I clutch. With this wheel I have no clutching problems, but I do have difficulty seeing my gages. The wheel is "fatter", so the grip feels much better than the classic wheel. It is great on a winding road.
