Just got my wing window frames back from Dick @ Virginia Vettes..
they look super
So I'm ready to install the inner rubber on the Frames...does anyone know any tricks? or how to? or what not to do? liquid soap to help ?.,
I have a good Idea how to >>there are some retainer clips on the New rubber inserts..does one use something to drive them into there final resting place?..or just hand pressure to get the retainer clips all the way in?...place a small piece of wood at the clip and tap it home gently w/ hammer? your thoughts
Use some vaseline or a dielectric grease that's what I did with mine. Putting the window run in was worse for me, the little clips were a pain I found it easier to rivet the run in the channel and then fold the tabs over.
