Default Done! '64 Engine Bay Restoration Completed!

I decided to start a new thread with the completed project. I wanted to rebuild my original 327/300hp motor and figured while I was at it I might as well finish off the engine compartment! I hope everyone enjoys the pics as much as I do!

Very nice, congratulations it looks great!
I'm just finishing the engine compartment on my '67 driver, every time I think I'm done I find another while I'm at it...

Nice...wish mine looked that good and clean.

I have to ask though (and I've seen these a lot on other ones, not just vettes), why is it that the master cylinder is sometimes at an angle?

I saw a 70 Chevelle LS6 going through Mecum and the master cylinder looked like it had to be at almost a 45* angle from the firewall. Doesn't that affect the brake fluid level?

Amazing! Mine looks atrocious hahaha.

Which paint did you use in the bay? And where'd you get the hoses?

Just used a satin black, and I got the hoses from Paragon Corvette. Most of the parts came from Paragon. They seem to have all the parts I needed and in stock.

It's obvious you spent the time to do the fine details. I like that.

And money, LOL! I was somewhat surprised how much everything was just to do this.

I know all about that!!! When I installed the Vintage Air in my car, I did not like the left side duct they provided. So I decided to install the factory AC duct. So you buy the duct, the two duct brackets and the AC hood release bracket to make everything work. Look those parts up and it will make you cry.
