I went to connect the clutch rod to the clutch pedal on my 67 and found a problem..no place to connect it to. I didnt take this apart or put it back in during the resto progress so I am not sure what I am missing. I think there should be a pin of some sort which I do not see. all I have it a couple holes. What am I missing The assembly manual was no help as the pic is not real good. Here are a couple pics of what I have sorry for the quality it a tough shot to get....Jim
Your '67 pedal support should look like the photo below, with a pin welded to the bracket that's welded to the side of the clutch pedal arm; the pin in the photo has a washer and pretzel clip on it which go on the pin after installing the pushrod.
The welded pin is missing from the pushrod bracket on your clutch pedal - it goes in the most rearward of the two holes; you'll need to either weld in a hardened pin, or replace the clutch pedal assembly with a new one that has the pin welded to the bracket. Either way, you'll have to remove the steering column and drop the pedal support to remove the clutch pedal.
yep it appears I am missing the pin...can I just replace the pin or would it be better to replace the pedal itself....I would hate the pin to sheer off

I'm not aware of anyone who has the special hardened pin by itself. Paragon and LICS both have the bracket (including the welded pin) to weld on the pedal arm after cutting off the original bracket, which is a chore. Or, you can just replace the pedal, which includes the bracket and pin already welded on.
