Some people don't know how to leave well enough alone.

So assuming (big if) this is a 1965 ex fuelie project car the $23.5K he is asking is not that far out of the ball park.

Rear fin is a easy removal, 2 rear qtrs and a front end put the body back together. Rest of the project is a parts gathering adventure.

Would not be suprised if he gets that amount or close to it.

Even if it was a fuel car from the factory...... it is no longer. A couple pieces are so replicated these days everyone has a high hp car. Why would anyone go through all the work of removing its custom touches to revert back to stock ? More labor and parts than the cost of a common driver. Its true there is a lid for every pot so one person has to be in the crowd to claim this prize.

Default Darn if you could get the right deal!

Just drive it everywhere in reverse! Problem solved!!!!!!!!

PS I love old hot rod Station wagons with my family previously owning 1 of I think two 1967 427's in the ugly green with County Squire trim. Classic! I never realized that the Griswold wagon was so cool! I think that conversion for the Corvette was on page 2096 of the ACI catalog!

Also the 1960's pot was pretty strong. Hallucinations etc. Thus just think what kind of mods will end up on modern cars with crack! And I think yesterday I spotted a few of those on the freeway already!
