Default Help Needed Decoding Engine Numbers

I have a complete 327 that I removed from my 63 when I installed a 383 stroker. I need help determining what I have and it's value. The rear of the motor has '935' 'H-6' 870. The top says 'GM 3782870' 'F 62'. The stamp says 'FO 622 RD' and '311848'. The heads are double hump '3917231' 'J23 7'. The intake is '3794129'. I also have a 63 BW T10 wide ratio 4 speed and a 63 rear differential. I would like to sell these parts now that I have sold the car. Hopefully I could find the car this motor belongs in and reunite it with it's owner. I also have drum brake trailing arms, front drums, sway bars and a complete 63 cluster. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Sal

All 327 blocks from '62 thru '65 were 3782870
The F0622RD stamp is Flint plant, June 22 build date 327-300HP
The 311848 (looks like you are missing a number) should be 3 for the 1963 year and the last 6 numbers of your VIN--11848? would be a June '63 number. The heads should be 3782461--looks like the ones you have may be from a '67 or 68.
That's about what I can find right now--I'm sure someone else will fill in the blanks.

I'll go out on a limb and say that you have the original born-with engine from the car you sold.

The block reads FO 622 RD311848. No additional numbers.

Maybe the vin was screwed up over the years. How many characters should the vin have? Or maybe the block was restamped and they screwed it up.
Thanks

Please post a picture of the engine pad. Pictures are worth a lot more than a thousand words in these situations.
