???? You have a radial in the spare carrier? All three bolts elongated? Love the Goodwood Green. Don't forget the month sticker on your license plate.

have not received my month sticker yet... only have the temporary YOM license. Not supposed to have the plates on, but i dont think i'm taking a big risk here.
Spare tire is 7.75 bias ply Goldline on k/o wheel.
Why are you asking about "bolts elongated"? b/c of the gap between the lid and the spare carrier? Was wondering myself if it's normal, tried to adjust it but it wont go tighter. How's urs?

I also have a bias-ply spare on a torque thrust wheel, but std. bolt lengths. I asked about the longer bolts because you can get them in several lengths to accommodate fatter tires and wheels but there is a gap of up to an inch or more when using them. However, it keeps you from torquing your spare carrier into ill-fitting positions.
My gap right now is at about 1/4". I was just wondering what your post was all about. Nice car.

Sorry, it looked darker than that. In any event, it looks nice either in the garage or on the street. Mine is Goodwood Green.

Goodwood is both darker and different shade of green. No worries.

I drove around for two months with my not yet registered YOM black plates. It had a 66 sticker similar to yours and no month decal before I finally got my new stickers and registration. It took almost two and a half months. I was a little nervous driving it and one time I had a cop behind me. I was sure I was going to get pulled over but he just pulled alongside me and saw I was 25 years his senior and kept driving.

Filed the YOM paperwork 1 month ago or so...
I dont feel too nervous driving w/o the month sticker: what are the odds to get pulled over and for the cop to be a total dick about it.
What did you do with the original 1966 sticker? I'm planning on leaving it on the front plate.
Also, does your first letter match the year? My IXR is more likely a 64 plate than a 65, hope it won't be an issue with the DMV.

You all are freaking me out. It's like there is some double-entendre, meaning or purpose in all of this that I'm not getting.

I was going to put the 66 stickered plate on the front but I changed my mind at the last minute and just removed it and installed the 2014 sticker instead. My plates start with TBE. I think there supposed to be correct for a 66, at least this is what I was told by a reputable dealer that is always at the Pomona and Long Beach swap meets. If you are pulled over just show the cop your red temporary sticker you received from the DMV and tell him/her you didn't know.
