Default What date code is this block
This block (casting 2870) is supposed to be from a 1964 Corvette. The front pad is ugly (restamped, extra stamps, etc).

What does this casting date code look like.

Assuming that first digit could be an "I", it could be Sept 19, 1963? Hard to tell from that pic.
