The passenger side brake light will not work BUT the turn signal works fine
Sounds like the switch to me.
You can try pulling the wheel off and drowning the contacts with WD40, which has worked for me several times.
They get gummed up with dry grease and corrosion.
If that doesn't work, buy a new switch.
If the turn signal works, you have a good wire, connector, bulb, and ground. The problem is almost certainly in your turn signal switch. The contact in the switch should make for the brake light when the signal lever is in the center position and your's is not. Hold the brake and wiggle the lever to see if the brake light flickers or comes on. As said, you may be able to clean or adjust the contact to fix it instead of replacing.
