Hi,

Can anyone recommend an experienced media blaster for my 1965 Convertible.

I am located in the San Fernando Valley, CA (West Hills).

Thanks in advance.

Pierre

If all else fails, check with your local municipal airport to see who repaints private planes.

Plastic media blasting was originally develped for the tender aluminum skins of airplanes.

If you are talking about blasting your frame, then I will have to get back to you.

I need the body media blasted inside and out. I need the frame sand blasted and want it to be powder coated. I got a quote from a local company Ajax - "The frame to sandblast and powdercoat a simi gloss black would be $600". Seems pretty reasonable. Has anyone out there used them? The owner indicated they have done a few corvette bodies. I am obviously concerned about the lack of experience.

I would avoid media blasting as it tends to soak up paint...call me and we can discuss options near you.
