C1 Fuel System
This started out as a fuel filter change. Then I decided to do the fuel pump. Ok - lets swap the tank out after 50+ years. Just your basic endless project.
Yesterday I removed the fuel pickup/sending unit from the tank. Now I know why my fuel gauge has been off for a while. The float wasn't floating.

The float wasn't floating.
You mean it was full of fuel?? Floats can be replaced if the unit is otherwise functioning
