Default wiring ?

after installing my new steering wheel im trying to get it wired properly
The PO had two horns wired in,, the original was wired to a toggle switch under the dash,,, because he couldnt get it wired right with his aftermarket wheel and im thinking when that quit working he added the ahooga horn with a momentary switch right beside the toggle switch

any how,, after remove the toggle i was tracing wires and noticed a wire not connected to anything... actually two,,, but one was the power wire to the horn relay
the wire i need to find where the connection might be is a black wire with white stripe ,, it exits the harness in the engine bay just past the firewall
it would be very close to where the harness passes over the windshield washer bottle

you wouldnt believe his wiring job under the dash,,, 4 or 5 places where he added wire,,, cuz his first cut wasnt long enough wher just left bare,,, i was lucky,,, and no smoke escaped

The heavy gauge Black w/White stripe is the main harness ground wire which attaches to the left valve cover inner rear attaching bolt. It grounds the cluster, the heater console plate(for the blower motor), and is also tied to the rear harness grounds via the body connector for the fuel sender and the rear lights. There are splices in the rear harness to tie all B/W grounds to the 5 rear lights.

Be careful with that Red feed to the horn relay. It is not fused and comes directly from the ammeter output leads.

Thank You for that info,,, everything in my cluster works ,, so the PO must have added a ground someplace

surprised me when I found out the red feed was live,, it was just hanging there freely,,, I ordered a new relay so hopefully horn will work as it should

Thx Again
