Default need help connecting ammeter capacitor

I have a 63 roadster (no a/c) and my ammeter gauge is new and I have a ammeter capacitor (behind dash) next to guage. The capacitor has a flat metal piece (end of wire). Not sure where that hooks up to. Can't find a place on the guage. Can someone please help this electrical idiot. Thanks

It attaches to the gauge, along with one of the plugs that plugs into gauge...

Bend the flat piece to insert into plug and slip it on to tang of ammeter....

Typically, the "flag" on the capacitor wire is found in the outboard cavity of the battery gauge connector, as shown in the Assembly Manual.

Thank you so much for the info and help. I also learned that that little thingie at the end of a wire is called a flag. Neat, I'm always learning something from this forum. Have a great day.
